I wasn’t going to post this—not yet—but things are heating up. After the recent "incident" that happened involving Los Santos Detectives on an island off the coast of SA, I was monitoring relay nodes I suspect to be owned by Lucent when I intercepted an encrypted message sent to all Lucent-related nodes, and a few others.
The encryption was no joke; extreme protection measures were put in place for this file, but I was able to partially break through it, extracting a video file. The video was corrupt, but after hours and hours of hard work, I was able to recover most of it; however, it was still distorted and a little buggy. I've attached the video here
Looks like a directive was issued internally by what I believe is a high-level controller—figurehead?—He refers to himself as "Agent Null". The video appears real. Time-stamped. Encoded with a lattice mesh security protocol I’ve only ever seen in black-budget cyberdefense ops.
A general overview, this "Agent Null" is ordering Operatives from an unknown division to enact this Directive, which sounds like some sort of surveillance operation. They appear to be targeting the group known as VERITAS, after the DOD operation off the coast of SA on a remote island. He specifies that this is a no-contact operation, and they are to operate in the shadows, finding any and all information they can.
The audio is distorted, but certain phrases are still discernible. I've manually transcribed and censored portions for safety:

“Attention [REDACTED] Operatives, This is Agent Null. Directive GLASS VEIL is to be enacted immediately—Phase One only. All field operatives and division leads have been granted temporary access for this segment. This message will self-lock at termination.”
"At Approx 2200 LCL, VERITAS alongside the DOD conducted a joint rescue operation of a detective in [REDACTED] custody held on a remote research facility for questioning"
“VERITAS has breached containment—not by force, not through audacity, but by miscalculation. They have unknowingly moved against us with subtlety, and so our response must be subtler still.”
[pause]
“You are not to confront them. Not to escalate. Not to signal that we have turned our gaze.”
“Instead—observe. Deconstruct their layers. Learn their rhythms. Map their network sprawl, their acquisition habits, their chain of command. Identify what they fear. Who they hide. And how far they’re willing to reach into darkness of another banner to progress.”
[shifts slightly]
“They know not what we are. That will serve us well. Let them fall in ignorance.”
“Phase Two is not yet warranted. The blade remains sheathed.”
“But mark this: If they cross our threshold again—if they breach containment, unravel protocol, or interfere with what we have buried—Phase Two will not be surveillance. It will be severance.”
[tone deepens]
“Until then… we watch. Agent Null Out”
If this is what I think it is, Null—or whoever is behind this—is mobilizing a silent war. Surveillance, mapping, digital containment.
And if they’re watching everyone, that includes us.
